Infidelity [Nov. 16th, 2010|10:59 pm]
[Mood |pessimistic]
[Music |Silverstein]

It randomly occured to me on the way home. As a single man who's likely to fuck up every good thing he'll ever have because he's clearly a pussy bitch who can't handle something so good, I raised the question: why do we cheat and why is it so upsetting when it happens.I want to know why it's so wrong? I want more than "It's morally wrong!" More than just, "You're just not supposed to if you care for that person." I want to get to the bottom of the logic and what triggers such responses.

Animals compete all the time to find a lifemate but they're on a different level. As humans, we give meaning to things that no wolf, or tiger, or lion could ever hope to come close to. We speak and make rationalizations that are usually based on how we feel about any given situation. We act on instinct just as a wild animal but with that instinct comes attached some kind of emotion like fineprint so small that we never realize it's there to begin with until we go back and think it over again. So, then, we never truly act on any real instinct just the first thing our special, humanized feeling directs us towards.

We think "Why would he/she do that?" and that's when we argue.

When someone says, "He/she is my territory. They're mine" they really mean it like that. It's something less metaphorical and more literal. So, your instinct to react the way you do when something goes down is a primal thing. You own that person and in return you've accepted any sense their ownage in return. It's very caveman-cavewoman in nature, if you ask me. It's like when that pack of lemurs on Nat Geo attacks another pack of lemurs trying to take what they feel is theirs. It's owned.

Every word has a meaning and the only reason a word is a word is because humankind has made it like that. How do we suppose an animal feels when another takes its land? It doesn't feel a spark of jealousy or that twist of anger. It reacts in an almost auto-programmed way.

In reality, who knows how we got here or, how everything came to be or, what our purpose is on Earth-- or even the purpose of the universe's existence!-- but humans wouldn't have sex organs and attractions to more than one if that wasn't the way it was meant to be. Don't get me wrong, I'm not pro-cheating. I'm just trying to figure this all out. If we were meant to stay with one... well, I don't think we're really meant to stay with one because dogs and cats as well as the plethora of other species on the planet go around fucking each other like whores all the time, creating away.

Animals form bonds but humans form some kind of weird special chemicals and synapses in their brains. I don't really know where I'm going with this. It all came at once and I felt that it would probably be best to put it down somewhere than to lose the thought forever. Who knows where thoughts go after they're forgotten. I'd like to know. Maybe they're still in your head just lost in the mess of other processes occuring. There may be more to this mess that I may have forgotten already.

What is true morality?
What is true wrongness?
If it's all what we make of it then is there no meaning just individual perceptions?

Nobody really thinks the same. We may just have some similar ideas based on standards bestowed upon us by parents and previous generations. So, why then must there be tests and exams if it's all a matter of opinion? Just so we could keep anarchy from taking over the world? What does it matter, anyway? Just because some overly bossy son of a bitch wants to fulfill his or her immense ego?

Interesting, but flawed

What about men? We produce new spermies all the time. I know when I'm 70 I'm still gonna be trying to get it on with the hot, green martian chick around the corner if she doesn't zap me with her laser breasts first for being an old ass creeper. This is taking into account the fact that nobody's married me and I'm nothing more than an ODB.

But, you know those words that you said?
They get stuck here in my head.
And this feeling I dread?
It makes me wish I was dead.Read more... )

DMB Fanboy post [Jul. 31st, 2010|08:40 pm]

I'm only this far
And only tomorrow leads my way.
I'm coming waltzing back
and moving into your head
I wouldn't pass this by.
I wouldn't take any more than
What sort of man goes by?
I will bring water.
It melts into wonder
I came in praying for you
Why won't you run
Into the rain and play?
Let the tears splash all over you.
